♢ HOW TO MEASURE

  • Be sure to refer to the visual measuring guide available HERE for a clearer reference
  • Use a soft measuring tape and make sure the dog is standing up straight during the measuring process

1. Head girth: measure around the dog’s head, just in front of the ears.

2. Neck girth: measure around the dog’s neck.

3. Desired snood length: measure the desired snood length from the base of the neck to the forehead (just in front of the ears) if you want the snood to cover the dog’s head. For a shorter snood, measure the neck length only.

PRO TIP: A piece of yarn and a hard ruler can be used as a substitute for a soft measuring tape.

♢ MATERIAL

  • 65% highland peruvian wool, 35% superfine alpaca wool
  • Yarn Group E | 14 ply | super bulky

"ALPS" – this premium yarn blends the natural warmth and breathability of highland wool with the softness of superfine alpaca, making it ideal for cozy winter knitwear garments like our dog snoods and sweaters. Compared to NEIVA, ALPS offers bulkier thickness. The untreated fibers preserve the natural qualities of the wool and alpaca, ensuring a plush, comfortable feel against your dog’s skin. With its Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification, this yarn has been rigorously tested for harmful substances, ensuring it is safe for direct skin contact.

The 14-ply super bulky texture ensures superior warmth and protection against the cold, while maintaining its shape and durability over time. Perfect for crafting long-lasting knitwear garments, this yarn offers the ideal balance of comfort and functionality, making it an excellent choice for your or your pet’s winter wardrobe.
